Aluminum U-channel for fixed panels and shower screens. 3/8" and 1/2" glass, stock lengths.
U-channel sets a fixed panel into the floor, wall or ceiling without clamps or standoffs. It is the cleanest way to carry a bottom edge, and the usual detail for a shower screen or a fixed side lite.
Channel is sold in stock lengths and cut on site. Ordering the 220" length for a long run avoids a joint in the middle of a visible edge; the 96" and 120" lengths handle a standard opening with less waste. Work out the run first, then pick the length that gives you one clean piece.
U-channel ships in Chrome Polished, Brushed Nickel, Matte Black and Satin Brass where the finish applies.
