A pivot carries the door on a vertical axis at the head and floor instead of on side-mounted hinges. It is what lets a tall or heavy glass door swing both ways and sit almost flush in its opening, and it is the standard approach for entrance and partition doors.
Several items are available singly and in cartons of 20. The carton is the same part, priced for a job or a shop that fits these regularly.
