Base shoe channel for glass railing, supplied with socks and rubber bands.
A base shoe is the channel that grips the bottom edge of a glass balustrade along its whole length, instead of at points the way spigots do. It gives a continuous line at the deck and spreads the load into the structure evenly.
This is sold by the linear foot, so order to the measured run plus your cutting allowance. The socks and rubber bands that set and grip the glass are included rather than ordered separately.
Point-fixed alternatives are in railing spigots.
Base shoe ships in Chrome Polished, Brushed Nickel, Matte Black and Satin Brass where the finish applies. Stock is held in Medley and quantities on each product page are live, so what you see is what is on the shelf. We also distribute C.R. Laurence Interior Systems and U.S. Aluminum Entrance Systems.
