Barn door systems

A barn door system carries a rolling glass door on an exposed track, the look borrowed from sliding barn doors, for showers and interior glass openings.

Two mounting types

• Barn Door System – Glass to Glass — the track hangs from a fixed glass panel, so the door rolls along the panel line.
• Barn Door System – Wall to Glass — the track mounts to the wall, for an opening with no fixed panel to hang from.

Both support door glass from 3/8" (10 mm) to 1/2" (12 mm) thick and ship at 8.82 lb in an 80 × 6 × 3 in package. Technical drawings are on each product page.

Choosing between them

Decide from the opening, not the door: if there is a fixed panel the door should travel past, use glass-to-glass; if the door slides along a wall, use wall-to-glass. The two are not interchangeable once the glass is fabricated. For a concealed-roller look in thinner glass, compare the 4-roller and 8-roller systems.
